They could be the same person!
While a senior in high school a friend and I visited Burger King, leaving with a stack of BK crowns. The next day, while our beloved physics teacher was busy writing on the board, we distributed the crowns and everyone put them on. The teacher was quite surprised and we managed to disrupt a class.

Sid: Basically he's a bizarrely creepy mascot for a well known chain of FAMILY fast food restaurants! And EVERYBODY thinks he's creepy! No one knows *what* the advertising company was thinking. Many of us jumped out of our skins when we saw these commercials! Lol! I mean yes, they created a memorable icon, but again -"FAMILY restaurant"... -creepy stalker guy with a ginormous head...?

And Hamburglar... I'm kind of drawing a blank on what he used to sound like... I just remember muttering... :) Oh. Wikipedia says he said "robble robble robble..." Yeah, that is close!
(Sid, Hamburglar was a character from the competing fast food chain and wasn't nearly as creepy. -And he was a THEIF! LOL!)
