No Thanks, I'll Walk

Sign says, Columbia Shuttle, CUID is required to ride the shuttle

I've passed this sign for years and never thought anything of it.
The other day, it stopped me in my tracks.

I don't get it?

Hillary, think space shuttle.

As I look at the sign I realize that, while I do take a Columbia shuttle bus every day, it is not this particular shuttle.

Interesting sign. Maybe I'm missing something but that would definitely catch my attention.

What hit me first was the "misspelling" of 'card': "How could they frack that up THAT badly??" Dumb. Dumbdumbdumb.

Then I spelled it out. *THEN* I thought of the Space Program.

And I have dozens of friends who work for NASA...

Joe: I figured you might take one of those. :) -And thank you for translating for Hillary! :D

Hillary: Lol! -Hey, I walked by it for years and didn't read it "that way."

Storyteller: Yes. Passed it ALL the time. Not even sure if I'd read it.

Bayjb: It's a sign for a Columbia University Shuttle Bus. CUID stands for "Columbia University ID."

Rebecca: See my explanation to Bayjb :) -Good to see you again!
